Day 1: Arrive at Paro And Thimpu Sightseeing

Arrive at Paro by flight, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will be your tour guide during your 2 nights 3 days Bhutan trip. Drive to the Thimpu. Once you reach Thimpu, check in at the hotel and have a few welcome drinks and relax for a while. After lunch you will visit the following places:

Tashichhoe Dzong:Tashichhoe Dzong is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimphu in Bhutan. It is the seat of the country's government and the home of the country's head abbot. The name "Tashichhoe" means "the fortress of the virtuous".

The dzong was built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the founder of Bhutan. It has been the seat of Bhutan's government since 1952. The dzong is a large square structure with three main courtyards and a series of temples and administrative offices. The central courtyards are open to the sky and are surrounded by four-story buildings.

Day 2: Thimpu - Paro

After breakfast, drive towards Taktsang Monastery and then hiked up to the monastery. Taktsang Monastery is also known as the Tiger's Nest, and is a sacred site for Buddhists in Bhutan. The monastery is perched on a cliff face and is only accessible by foot.

The hike up to Taktsang Monastery was strenuous, but the views were definitely worth it. Once you reached the top, you will explore the monastery and learned about its history. You will also get to enjoy the stunning views of the valley.

After visiting the Taktsang monastery, come down to the hill and visit Kyichu temple. Kyichu is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan and is considered a sacred site. The temple was built in the 7th century by the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo.

Then visit to a farmhouse offers a good glimpse into the lifestyle of a farmer. Enjoy a traditional Bhutanese lunch and try your hand at archery using a bamboo bow and arrow.
